The PJD York introduces their take on a time honoured and revered guitar. Featuring their very own PJD, custom hand wound, single coil, ‘High Tea’ pickups and an open grain nitrocellulose finish.

The guitars light weight body lends itself perfectly to performance without compromise and is musically resonant. The Yorks rich and full bodied tone, allows for a range of styles to be explored and the ultra-thin nitro finish, means the guitar will open up and develop quickly. The development of this guitar pushed us to explore new ideas and led us to developing our own pickups. This is the first PJD in the standard line up, that will come exclusively with our own hand wound ‘High Tea' pickups.

This is the first time PJD has offered a Bigsby Tremolo on their plus range.

Colour Options
The York Standard Plus is available in our standard colour options or with a "Spray Over" finish.

What is a "Spray Over" finish?
A Spray Over finish sees our guitar initially painted in Three Tone Sunburst. A second colour from our standard options is then sprayed directly over the top. The finish is then rubbed back in certain areas to reveal the three tone sunburst beneath, giving the guitar a unique aesthetic.
